i lived in south carolina not far from beaufort where my uncle was stationed in the marines his name is i drove to walmart n back on the way back i saw what appeared to be a man at first but once i got closer it looked like a huge red feathered bird/man eating something it had its back to me once i passed it not even half a mile up the road i felt a huge thud on the top of the jeep that i was driving it swayed the jeep from one side to the other and then i hit the brakes when i did what ever was on the roo took off i heard a swoosh like large wings and sped of i dod 70 to 80 the whole way home. my uncle drove my pontiac to work at the base then when done at work drove home late and showed up with a huge dent in the hood he described the same thing i had seen to every detail accept it dove down pushing the hood in, i believe this was the mothman please contact me i need to know what the mothman was trying to tell me and what the mothman was po9ssibly looking for .

Admin reply: If indeed it was the "mothman", I don't think he was trying to tell you anything. Mothman and Lizardman and the like, more or less allegedly attack random vehicles for no apparent reason. Your story is right along the same lines as other stories we've heard about. hi my name is lauren and i have some interesting things going on in my home.My mother just had a child and i was sitting on the couch one night and the babys' mobile had come on as soon as i got up.(i was in the room alone)
